CRESTED BUTTE GOTHIC ROAD, COLORADO
Crested Butte located in north-central Gunnison County and is the home of the outstanding and very popular mountain biking, snowboarding, downhill skiing, golfing, Music Festivals,
and a lot more.
According to records, the town of Mount
Crested Butte covers a total area of 2.22 square miles (all of which is mainly
land) and as at 2000 there were about 707 people, 114 of which are families residing in the town and 323 of which are
households.
Records show that the indigenous racial
makeup of the town was the ‘Whites’ constituting 97.31% , the Native Americans 1.56% , other races also make up 1.13%. The Latino were
3.54% of the population as well. The Town is fortunate enough to be found among the Paradise Divide and Gothic
Mountain to the north and Kebler Pass to the west, and also Elk Mountains,
with the East River to the northeast.
